Anupa Batra joined ANR Foundation in 2016 and works as Laws Triage Associate. Along with analyzing and interpreting the language of tobacco-control laws, she also performs follow-up research and tracks changes in legislation. She contributes to producing ANR’s quarterly tobacco-control ordinance lists and to providing data from the U.S. Tobacco Control Laws Database© directly to researchers, advocates, and others. She believes everyone should have the right to a smokefree and healthy atmosphere. Anupa holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and Master’s degrees in both philosophy and education.
