NOT ALL PUBLIC PLACES ARE SMOKEFREE

MANY STATES AND VENUES ARE STILL NOT PROTECTED BY SMOKEFREE LAWS

Although great progress has been made over the years in increasing the number of people around the country who are protected by smokefree laws and policies, too many places still remain smoke-filled.

Places where workers and the public are especially at risk for exposure are workplaces and public venues such as bars, restaurants, casinos, hotels, transit systems, and cruise ships, as well as multi-unit housing, cars, and colleges/universities.
