Laura Walpert has served the ANR Foundation as a Policy Analyst on the Ordinance Database Team since 2009. In that time, she has analyzed several thousand tobacco control laws and policies of all flavors for the organization’s Laws and College Campus Databases. She provides the resulting data directly to researchers, advocates, health departments, and the general public, as well as publishing ordinance lists to the Foundation’s website; one particular focus is ANR Foundation’s list of Smokefree and Tobacco-Free U.S. and Tribal Colleges and Universities. Raised with a passion for smokefree air, she brings a background in law to her work with the Foundation.
