Best-laid plans and good intentions…sometimes we mean well and simply run out of time to make the effort to donate to our favorite charities. Here’s a solution: Workplace Donor Campaigns. They are an easy way to support causes that will change lives. Donating to support the ANR Foundation will deeply impact lives for the better and help build a tobacco-free generation!

Workplace Giving

We participate in many other local or statewide workplace giving campaigns where the ANR Foundation is listed as either an independent agency or as a member of the national federation Independent Charities of America. Your human resources department will have details about your workplace’s donor campaign, as well as how to make sure ANR Foundation is on the list of available organizations. If you don’t see us on the list, look also for our DBA (Doing Business As) name: Asthma, Cancer & Heart Disease Prevention Through Smokefree Air.

Federal Employees

If you are a federal employee you can be part of the positive energy that will have life-saving impact by simply signing up for the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). CFC is the largest and most historic giving program in the nation. President John F. Kennedy authorized the U.S. Civil Service Commission to create the CFC in 1961, taking previous programs and developing a combined campaign—to make it easier to give and to reduce solicitations from various organizations. By 1979 CFC raised almost $83 million.

The ANR Foundation participates in the CFC as a member agency of the Health and Medical Charities of America Federation under its DBA: Asthma, Cancer & Heart Disease Prevention Through Smokefree Air. ANRF’s CFC number is (#11835).

Sign up before September 1st to help us save lives and improve public health.

Matching Contributions from employers make your donation grow exponentially.

Please ask if your employer engages in matching programs to match your charitable donations. Several companies already match ANR Foundation donor contributions, including ARCO, AXA, Bancroft-Whitney Company/West Group, Barclays Global Investors, BP, Computer Associates, Digital Equipment Corporation, Hoechst Celanese, LAM Research Corporation, Microsoft, Pfizer, Pitney Bowes Inc., Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Sun Microsystems, and more.

Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company makes matching donations. You can also help us solicit your employer for a sponsorship or grant by connecting ANRF staff with the right contacts. Visit our Other Ways to Give page for additional information.
