Join us in celebrating Austin’s 20th smokefree anniversary on September 1. Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, was an innovator back in 2005 when it became an early adopter of a strong smokefree law that included bars and music venues. In 2020, ANR Foundation’s Smokefree Music Cities project featured 10 artists and one venue owner during the month of September to highlight personal stories from Austin musicians. Hear their stories and some music from award winning artists and icons like Marcia Ball, Jackie Venson, Johnny Goudie, Shinyribs, Gina Chavez, SaulPaul, Moving Panoramas, Matt the Electrician, Suzanna Choffel, and BettySoo, along with Saxon Pub owner, Joe Ables.
